The Northeast Service Center (NESC)

Municipal Campus

The Northeast Service Center (NESC) is a multi-building municipal campus located in Austin, TX. The campus includes eight buildings and will serve the Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) and the Fleet Mobility Services Department (FMSD). The service center will repair and maintain over 700 fleet assets, including fire, police, EMS, public works trucks, and watercraft.

The buildings are designed to meet WELL Silver and Austin Energy Green Building Three-Star certifications. Sustainable features include rainwater collection, reclaimed water connections, expanded solar capacity, and low-VOC materials. Epic Cleantec’s OneWaterTM Rain system will support the rainwater reuse strategy through two separate systems, collecting and reusing water for onsite operations like toilet flushing and irrigation.
