High-rise multifamily residential community
Kuilei Place is a 43-story residential project in Honolulu, HI that will use Epic Cleantec’s OneWater™ system to reduce the project’s total non-potable water demand by nearly 25%. The system will recycle up to 8.5 million gallons of greywater per year (23,500 gallons per day on average) and reuse it for toilet flushing in its 1,005 units and irrigation of the lush property. The OneWater™ system will save around $100,000 annually in utility costs.
A first-of-its-kind for the state of Hawaii
With the approval of Hawaii Department of Health, the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Planning and Permitting, Department of Environmental Services, and the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, Kuilei Place is positioned to be a trendsetter as the first residential project to meet all requirements established to employ an advanced onsite greywater treatment system.
